About
I'm a fourth-year Data Science Student and NLP Research Assistant at UofT.
I enjoy building machine learning systems end to end; from data preparation and model training to deployment. Lately, I've been working on computational moral inference and character representation learning under supervision of Aida Ramezani and Prof. Yang Xu.
I was a teaching assistant for STA130 in Fall 2024 term and will be returning in Fall 2025.
I'm open to collaborations in applied machine learning, especially in areas like natural language processing, computer vision, and data engineering.
Experience
- Research Assistant — Moral Inference Project, University of Toronto · Working with computational methods on moral inference and character representations under Aida Ramezani & Prof. Yang Xu; exploring LLM representation and careful evaluation.
- Teaching Assistant — STA130 (Data Science & Statistical Reasoning), UofT · Led tutorials (~24 students) and office hours; TA in Fall 2024 and returning in Fall 2025.
- Machine Learning Intern — Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) · Indonesian ID classification, sentiment analysis, and transaction categorization using LLMs; experience taking models from training toward deployment.
- Social Good Team — Students in Data Science & Statistics @ UofT · Building a model to help predict student performance and support academic planning.
Projects
- Indonesian ID Recognition (CNN) · Detects and classifies KTP IDs to harden OCR against spoofs; experimented with ESRGAN/EDSR for image enhancement.
- Macroecon × Governance Analysis · World Bank data; panel regression on FDI→GDP growth with interactions (political stability & corruption); planned ML baselines (e.g., XGBoost) and SHAP diagnostics.
- More coming Soon..
